Final tweet of 2023
December 31, 2023
Perhaps not a tweet in the X sense, but…..the last posted drawing of 2023! I’m in the midst of a marathon sketching day with the Scottish Borders Life Drawing Group, 2am til 4pm. Models on Zoom all day long, yeep! Enjoy my little charcoal bird in the meantime…
I love this bird! I saw it on IG and was simply wowed. I have to ask–is that a small grating screen for charcoal??? I can’t believe how black you were able to get that background!
Yes, you sharpen a stick or charcoal pencil on it, then lift the screen and use some powder. ??
Thank you!!!
