Sketch in graphite….reminding me of how shiny graphite is when photographing. This is an elderly Indian man with white flowing hair and beard, so I was dying to add a background to make it look white, but….no time!

Beautifully done! Have you tried the Faber Castellated Matt pencils? They’re supposed to photograph really well and yes they do have 9B! ?

I want desperately to like them but….meh? I still have them here, I should give them another try on various papers.
