I always struggle with too many brushstrokes in my paintings – the instructor’s had a lot of them showing and I challenged myself to really streamline it. Plus changed the background color so I could pull those into the skintones.
I like those colors. It looks like he’s sitting there waiting to speak to you, or hear you speak.
